Shane Ross

Originally from Tauranga, Shane studied a range of subjects at university, but focused mainly on technology. He has worked at OneCall since 2007, after roles at Fonterra and Otago University.

Shane is in charge of making sure OneCall runs efficiently and works with the sales team to deliver cutting edge solutions to clients. He enjoys implementing these solutions and says, “the more challenging the better.”

David is our Sales Manager and has a background in sales and marketing from running his own business in the hospitality industry in Europe for over 15 years. He enjoys building client relationships by providing them with the right products and delivering great customer service.

Our Business Development Manager, James, moved to New Zealand from England in 2012. He comes with 15 years’ experience within business operations, sales and marketing, and project management, and had roles with IBM, NHS and Hewlett Packard.

James enjoys positive customer engagement, providing good customer service whilst also keeping fit, attending live events such as rugby, football and music!

I recently joined the OneCall team as the Internal Accounts Manager. I am an Otago University graduate who has worked locally and abroad in a variety of IT roles from network engineering to business development. With my technical background I’m able to proactively deliver new IT solutions to our customers, as well as futureproof existing ones. I’m a keen photographer and an avid tinkerer usually juggling several electronics and programming projects in my spare time.

Ben enjoys the constant changes and upskilling needed to work in the IT industry. Logan enjoys the problem-solving aspect of his role as Information Technology Engineer, particularly working through a resolution from start to finish for his clients. takes pride in OneCall having robust systems in place to help their customers.

Outside of work, Logan is a Dunedin Model Aero Club member and enthusiast. You’ll find him flying both planes and drones out on the Taieri most weekends.

I have been working in the IT Industry for the over 15 years. I started out as a junior tech for a small locally owned IT firm back in the early 2000’s, when the industry was a completely different landscape with small business IT only just emerging. This has allowed me to grow and gain experience, progressing to network and infrastructure roles and environments. This provided the perfect stepping stone towards joining OneCall and expanding into greater skill and knowledge within these areas.

I have over 15 year’s IT and customer service experience, starting with end user residential support, moving into office and server support, and recently acquiring experience in voice and network solutions. My favourite part of any role is the problem solving aspect – find the best solution to any issue, big or small. In my spare time I fly a drone, race go-karts and play, coach and umpire American Football, as well as coach a kids rugby team.

There have been many changes to office equipment during that time and as a result, they have become a vital part of almost every business. Brent enjoys being able to support customers by making sure they are getting the most from their office equipment.

Adam has been working in the technology sector for about 19 years. He started out doing copier and printer repairs then shifted into software solutions. For the past three years Adam has been working in information technology. He has always been interested in how things work and solving problems, so working in office and information technology was a natural fit.

Kristy is our service dispatcher – the first point of contact for our customers, and responsible for organising our technicians’ schedules, communicating with our customers and ensuring they’re helped in a timely manner. Kristy has been in customer service for over 15 years in Dunedin, Wellington, and London. She is really enjoying being back home in Dunedin and her new role with us at OneCall. Out of work, Kristy enjoys spending time with family and getting out and about with her husband and fur baby Molly.
